Is there a screening process going on as they enter?

The FOX guy on scene said yep - their belongings are being looked at as they enter.

What Bedlam...and I suppose once inside (I wish they'd get a camera in there), I guess folks will just hunker down in the bleacher seats along with their bags of belongings.

total bedlam. FNC reporters say one woman on line moved just a few feet in 10 minutes.

The FNC explains that they are looking for contraband such as alcohol and weapons.

You can take in cigarettes, but, unfortunately, smoking is not allowed inside the Superdome.

And now they have told the poor people not to bring stuff with them, but the Governor told them this morning to bring lots of food, blankets, etc.

They are expecting 20,000 to 30,000 people in the Super-dome. Fox News just said there was beginning to be a "little unrest" in line. Some are chanting "let us in, let us in".
