I've got a bad feeling about the Dome. Because of the curvature of the exterior I believe that a lateral 175 mph+ wind will lift the roof right off. Doomed structure.
Fortunately, structural engineering has little to do with the feelings of lay people based on their aesthetic assessment of a building. I recall seeing photos of it under construction, and it looking pretty impressively engineered (not that that assessment has much more value.)
However, those aluminum siding panels could end up being lethally blown about for miles.

THEN, she asked about the Superdome...she said she wishes she knew about its construction...and then hestitated, like she didn't want to say that she is not so sure it will withstand this storm....she seemed very reluctant to express opinion about that...scary!
