The super dome can hold about 100,000 people in a pinch, and is 25 ft. above sea level. Unless the winds blow it down, unlikely since it is constructed of concrete and steel, they should be alright during the storm.

The problems will come afterwords when they have to evacuate 100,000 people because the rest of the city is flooded with sewage infected water and with no electricity and will stay that way for weeks. Cleaning up NO is going to be a mess.

What about the snakes,and gators? I can just see them roaming I-10 now. My satellite has been out for 10 mins already, 100 miles inland from The Fla West Central Coast and we are getting a Hurricane influenced wicked T storm.
