To: Altamira; tet68; Knitting A Conundrum
Well, you know one thing, the Cafe du Monde will not close their doors. They don't have any.

I start my morning with Cafe du Monde coffee EVERY day.

I rode out Hurricane David in 1979 off of Charleston as well as going through many hurricanes in eastern NC while growing up. Prayers for everyone in the path of this one. This is going to be one for the books.

Boyfriend of mine worked there at Cafe Du Monde in 1975. Oh, I miss that place, and the thick hot coffee...sigh.
