Nice guess. But wrong. The only aircraft was a blue and white bell jet ranger helicopter. It was never low enough to see it's markings, at least not with my eyes. Never heard any jets. Since up until 9 months ago my office was directly underneath the approach path to Kelly Field at Lackland AFB, which has F-16s and C-5s assigned, and lots of transiant T-38s, T-37s, T-1s and T-6s, and am a retired USAFR officer, I do know what a jet aircraft sounds and looks like. The F-16s, deployed to a nearby military base, guard the President whenever he in Crawford, but the weren't up today, or were too high to notice.
