After listening to Gov. Blanco, twice today, I can understand why the state might have some difficulty in preparation for a disaster such as Katrina could be. Comments such as "this will be a positive experience for all of us" from the first presser of the day caused me to wonder if she is unaware of what may happen. "Let's all be polite" was another comment--IMO in her previous life she must have been Miss Manners! She was a school teacher in her former life.

In that cased she must have been a first or second grade teacher! She is treating adults like seven year olds! Thank you for the insight on this "governor".
