Just checking in. I'm assuming that the scenario you are talking about is New Orleans? Everyone forgive me as I have not been on top of this thing.

Yes, New Orleans is in the crosshairs. Mobile, Houston, and Tampa are also potential doomsday scenario cities, but New Orleans is the worst by a long shot.

And it looks this afternoon as if it's going to happen.

The death toll would probably be enormous, and the economic damage beyond measure.

There is still enough time for forecast conditions to change, but I think that's a possibility, not a probability.
