Oh, I am so sorry that you are facing this. I do understand that many people can not afford to evacuate, and if they can, where can that many people go on such short notice? Your post brought tears to my eyes, thinking of your worry. I wish I could help. Please ignore the stupid media, they are vultures of human misery. As for those that are excited about the situation, I don't think they mean any harm, and perhaps in their interest in the weather, they will help alert others to the danger they face.

Please try to stay safe, if this storm does look like it is heading your way. Still praying for you and all in path of this,

I'm not excited about it, but every time a hurricane edges this way I can't help thinking that if New Orleans went bye-bye, the Democrats would never win another statewide election here. :)

But even that's not worth it.
