Did you hear Margot Kidder showed up at Camp Crazy the other day? She's looking to draw on her own bizarre experiences to play Cindy when Moore begins production on "Dude...Where's my Mother?"

Oh man...don't even say it. Someone may consider that a good idea.

Margot Kidder becomes U.S. citizen to protest war
AP 2005-08-19 02:21:35

BUTTE, MONT. -- Actor Margot Kidder became a U.S. citizen Wednesday to avoid possible deportation to her native Canada when she begins protesting the war in Iraq, she said.

Kidder, best known for playing Lois Lane in the 1978 movie Superman and three sequels, was among 19 people who became citizens during a naturalization ceremony in Butte federal court.

"It means I can vote against anyone and everyone in elected office that in any way supported the Bush administration," said Kidder, 56, who has lived in the United States for 34 years and has a home in Livingston, Mont.

Dave Routzahn, director of the Immigration and Naturalization Service in Helena, vouched for her and the 18 other applicants. He said they have displayed good moral character, have been living in the U.S. and are dedicated to its form of government.

Kidder said in an interview after the ceremony that her sole motivation was to protest the war in Iraq. She also criticized the Gulf War in the 1990s.
