When we are trading away our schools, housing and welfare system to get it?
Thats socialism, not trade that is "free" in any sense of the word.

And the people promoting socialism and communism are generally homegrown America liberals.
Brown Berets are homegrown America liberals?
To: Modernman
Crime has been steadily decreasing in this country for a couple of decades now
On the border? What country to do hail from?
To: Modernman
In 1986, when the amnesty was passed and then again when EMTALA was passed. Just to name two.
To: hedgetrimmer
On the border? What country to do hail from? I'm sure you can find spots in any country that defy the greater trend. But, crime is going down in this country and has been doing so for many years now.
A few border counties do not change that fact.

Brown Berets are homegrown America liberals? The Brown Berets, like the Aztlan loonies, are not taken seriously by anyone of any importance. They have no power nor influence outside of a very narrow band of radicals. They are the Hispanic version of the New Black Panther Party or the KKK.
Whatever they might have done to advance socialism and communism in this country is greatly overshadowed by native-born Americans such as Teddy Kennedy and Hilary Clinton.

You not very well versed I guess or the people you think are important are ignorant. The Brown Berets run at least one school district in my county. They are a very serious problem here.

Or they just change the criteria for defining a crime. In the city of San Francisco, nothing is a crime anymore. Just get hit by a illegal alien driver with no insurance and see if the police even take a report.
To: Conservative Firster
Complete with "trinationalist" courts with Mexican and Canadian judges applying Mexican and Canadian law? Even freer movement of citizens of each country across the borders? Joint taxation?
No thanks, I'll pass. I like the national boundaries the way they're drawn now. I just wish we had a president and Congress that would enforce them.

I keep enough photos close by
So you can remember the good times at the leftist university you attended on a Pell grant? :-0
To: hedgetrimmer
Or they just change the criteria for defining a crime. If you say so. Please provide some evidence that the police and the government are hiding crimes.
In the city of San Francisco, nothing is a crime anymore.
AFAIK, San Francisco's criminal laws don't differ in any real sense from anywhere else in the country. Are murder, rape, assualt and property crimes not illegal in San Francisco?
Just get hit by a illegal alien driver with no insurance and see if the police even take a report.
I was involved in an accident where one of the drivers was an illegal. The police took a report, just as they would in any other case.
Wherever do you get these strange ideas?

The Brown Berets run at least one school district in my county. I'd like to see a source on this. I'd be curious to see what you mean by "run" a school district. Are there members of the Brown Berets on the school board?

I've always suspected that hedgetrimmer lives in a bunker in West Virginia filled with freeze dried food and plenty of tin foil if you catch my drift.

He's apparently in California. But I think I know his type.
Nobody can deny that our border controls are a mess, but I think people like Hedgetrimmer have a bad case of tunnel vision. They don't really see that the nation as a whole is in pretty damn good shape these days.

Don't forget the buried 40' shipping-container filled with SPAM and BB's. Just in case.
