They keep increasing prices. $10 a movie is a ripoff.

With home theaters, cheap DVD's, microwave popcorn why waste your money? I just wait until they come out on DVD or the movie channels. Very few movies today are worth the cost at the theaters.

"They keep increasing prices. $10 a movie is a ripoff." That's exactly correct and the main issue I don't and can't take my wife and four kids out to a flick. That's sixty bucks before popcorn or soda for usually a 90 minute film!

They're at least $10.25 here in Manhattan, and IMAX movies are even more. It's such a ripoff.

With the advent of DVDs and home theaters, the movie industry is going to have to come up with a lot more pizazz to get the public to visit their shrines to darkness. How about starting with bright, focused images? Is that too much to ask for?
