"The theory of gravity is very easy to prove. Gravity can be predicted with great accuracy, where it will exist, and how much of it will exist there. It can easily be tested, has been tested, and it works every single time."

You are confusing two different things, gravity and the Theory that explains it. The Theory of Universal Gravity has never been proved. Not once. In fact, we know that there are problems with every gravity theory we have. Relativity has a hard time agreeing with quantum mechanics when it comes to gravity. Newtonian gravity doesn't work with very very small objects and very very massive ones. It is still useful for a great number of things in everyday experience, but Newton's *Laws* have technically been shown to be incomplete.

That is the nature of a scientific theory.

"The Theory of Evolution, is not the equivilant to the Theory of Gravity."

Evolution is just as strong as gravitational theory.

So why are there so few practical applications of NS?

Electricity is ubiquitous. The practical application of that subset of physics is enormous.

Dynamics, thermodynamics, statics, material science, chemistry subsets, electronics, etc.

When biology grows up, and it is growing. But asserting that NS is underpinning theory of all biology, inviolate, and absolute truth...is over the top.

Even talk origins when discussing practical NS/Evolutionary applications had the following entry which is hilarious:

>>Directed evolution allows the "breeding" of molecules or molecular pathways to create or enhance products, including:

* enzymes (Arnold 2001)
* pigments (Arnold 2001)
* antibiotics
* flavors
* biopolymers
* bacterial strains to decompose hazardous materials.

Directed evolution can also be used to study the folding and function of natural enzymes (Taylor et al. 2001). <<

Directed evolution is a euphemism for Intelligent Design.
