Have you forgotten his role as Majority Maker? The Contract with America gets most of the credit, but Rush was a tireless advocate of the Contract and there is no question that he deserves much of the credit that Congress has been controlled since 1994 by Republicans instead of the socialists.

As an old-timer myself, I understand that we all get a little short-sighted as we age.
