Of course I meant Bob. I used to listen to him in high school! Good grief.

The most overrated talk show host has got to be Sean Hannity. His show consists of promoting his TV show (40%), and telling us what will be on in the next hour (25%). When he's not busy promoting himself -- which is most of the time -- Hannity's show sounds like a seventh grader describing what he heard on Rush that day.

You mean, we don't get French benefits?
To: PolishProud
While Rush relates to his audience on most subjects, he disconnects when he talks about social security as an entitlement. He doesn't accept that the government has made a contract with taxpayers; whereby, in return for the payment of social security taxes, the government promised to provide monies for retirees. First of all, a contract requires the signature of two parties. Did you sign this contract? Another thing wrong with your premise is from the moment of conception, Social Security was used as a welfare program. However, if we accept your premise this is a contract, what about the contract the government made with veterans after WW II - called the GI Bill? How many times has this been gutted and changed for political purposes?

No one, not even Rush, is perfect, but I love them all and I hope they keep hitting the left hard. Their business is competitive, and they have to do what they have to do, to survive.
These are the soldiers (the alternative media), at the battle front against the MSM.
Here is a toast to you all... Cheers! Salud! :)

Mike was funny when he was on WABC in the morning with Lionel. Now when I listen to him, he's annoying but I don't know why *LOL*

'contract'? Yeah sure, that is why I have not choice in the matter what so ever? And why all indications are that I will never see most if any of that money back? And don't feed me a line about it being my civic duty to pay for the retirement of current recipients. If my parents and grandparents want my help they can ask. But... oh wait, they planned ahead for their retirement so they would NOT be a burden. I would consider my SS tax money better spent for retirement if I dug a hole in the yard. Can you tell that as a young tax payer SS infuriates me? If it is not an entitlement then where are my private accounts? Where is my 'opt-out' option where I can put the money in my 401k?

The worse host, by far, is Michael Savage. He gives conservative talk radio a bad name. When liberals excoriate conservative talk, they use Savage as an example and rightly so.Savage sounds crazy, but he speaks the truth.
To: PolishProud
, he talked about women "farting" in their cars. He thought it was so clever that this double entendre could also refer to women putting on make up in their cars.
The word is farking, which means to apply makeup. You can find this in the dictionary. He talked about this because there were those who were trying to get cell phone use banned while driving. His point was that women who apply makeup while driving were probably just as dangerous. Of course he being the intelligent man that he is used the proper word "fark". I admit maybe at times I have the humor of a 7th grader, but I found that particular show funny. :)

I heard him for the first time probably less than two years ago. I gave him a shot but found him consistently unlistenable and he's the only conservative host that would fall into that category.
I think the big problem with conservative talk radio now is too many commercials. Times have changed.

Glad someone else has noticed the amount of commercials. Ads are everywhere. My sister pointed to a wall in the shopping mall and said 'Brave New World'!

Nice vanity. Against the odds, reading it draws you in. Lots of people are commenting. Right-wingers seem to like to discuss right-wing talk show hosts - as one can tell reading FR's Massachusetts state board.
To: cyborg
Ads are everywhere. Cash registers, gas pumps. I saw a flat screen TV behind the meat counter at a supermarket playing commercials with occasional news.
