Rumsfeld says that 9/11 Commission briefed about Able Danger
FNC | August 23, 2005 | FNC

Rumsfeld is having a press conference. Under the Fox News Alert the big banner read:

Rumsfeld says that Able Danger briefed the 9/11 Commission.

Did anyone hear his remarks on this matter; all I've seen is the banner.

Go to post #276 and click on the articles concerned linked. They say WHAT they were implementing, they don't mention WHO was the person overseeing the new operation. I am curiouser and curiouser

Reno appointed as Sec of Defense for Domestic Issues (April 2000)

That makes it a whole different ball game.

Wonder how she fit into this whole mess.

All this time we've been figuring out what the terrorists had been doing, and how they succeedded, but we've spent little time trying to figure out WHY the Clinton administration did what they did!!

Your question in October 2000 is still pertinent!

Janet Reno is now Secretary of Defense for domestic matters

Now that this deed is done, do you think we will find out why?

I'm praying that this isn't anything nefarious.

I'm still trying to figure out why the pres is replacing a Pentagon person with someone from the Judicial branch. It must have something to do with all of her military experience. She did such a fine job at Waco. I believe she even said, "The buck stops here."

Lets' get the word out on this!!!

I'm sure Gore would reverse this if elected.

Do you know if this was addressed by the 911 Commission???

No I do not. I am about to peruse my 911 Commission Report book for any reference to Reno.

MG Howlin, remember how freaked out we were when this was announced. We were convinced that clinton would find a reason to declare martial law and never leave. In light of Able Danger, it all makes sense now.

Small for God's sake, Clinton gave her command of Defense for the homeland. That means this Able Danger material is relevant.

Were Janet Reno and Loius Freeh questioned by the 9-11 Commission?

People can smell evil. Wasn't the 9/11 attack scheduled for an earlier date, but something stopped it? Does that ring a bell to anyone?

I'm off to a search engine.

The issue is not Able Danger, but whether Able Danger identified Atta, and who they told when, including the commission.

I don't believe Reno was questioned by the 9/11 cOmission, but I'm not sure about Freeh.
