I used to fear that far too many people are swayed by the media, but after last year's election, I'm a little more hopeful that many don't believe the press anymore. It's still a struggle, but I think most Americans understand.
If the media didn't have their thumb on the scale last election, Bush would have won by a larger margin.
Zogby was pushing tilted polling numbers even on election day. The left used those biased poll figures as "proof" that Bush stole the election (again) because he lost in the poll.
The silent majority knew that the press was against them and that fraud would be committed by the left. We knew that we would have to turn out in numbers greater than their efforts could mount. We did.
Bush beat EVERY "anybody but Bush" candidate combined.
These protesters are generating aid to the OUTSIDE the USA media. CNN in europe is pushing Sheehan as if ALL of the USA agrees with her and GWBush is holed up in the ranch hiding from her. (see Wacco)
These protesters KNOW that outside the USA MSM will push this, outside the USA the public does not have a new media to turn to.

And the reason why they understand now is because of alternate media like talk radio and the blogosphere. But even with all of Kerry's lies and the daily media bias being exposed, the bastard still got 48 million votes.
