I think the T-mobile Sidekick is the best device to post on FR with. When I went out on freeps, I would often post a brief after-action report from mine. Worked great.
The Sidekick has a full keyboard, which makes it easier to use than the Treo, and the display is larger than any of the other cellphone/PDAs.
Unfortunately, T-Mobile service is mediocre in most of the places I've been. If it's good in your part of the world, though, I highly recommend it.

just stinks, you can't post on FR with them yet. Not with a Blackberry, but I do it all the time with my Verizon Samsung i730 with Windows Mobile 2003. The world is changing fast... ;)
