TIA is not a "stroke" no matter what the tv says. Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) versus Stroke is analagous to Angina versus Heart Attack. The former in both cases are temporary symptoms of ischemia, rather than permanent tissue damage labeled by the latter.
It's my business to be a stickler for these things...
I'm glad to hear that - Harry Reid had a TIA, apparently, while Mrs. King had a stroke.
