Honestly, I feel the whole "we have jobs thing" is just an excuse - conservatives rationalizing for why they can't be bothered to show up to these things.

I've run into plenty of nutjob liberals, and almost all have jobs.

Maybe - but there are times - like now - when I wish I could figure out a way to join in. I have 4 kids, we own our own business which of course hubby is tied to about 18 hours a day and I have obligations at church over the weekend. I guess if I was free of those, then I could just gallavant. It's a frustration I have had for a while -- not that I'm looking to get rid of my family! LOL!

You are right of course. We all need to do more than type on the computer, to stand up for what is right. And sometimes work is an excuse.

But, on the other hand, I lived (in the suburbs of) DC and happen to know that there are plenty of "professional" protesters! I rode with them on the metro!

I really should drop everything and fly to Crawford. But, here is my excuse: I can't. LOL! If they were within a 6 hour drive of where I live I would do it---no excuses!

But, that irrational job and kids and obligations do keep me home this week end. Just got back from making a college payment to those nutcase liberals (on the job) for the boy's schooling.
