Many in the MSM have alleged that President Bush has "no compassion" for the families of the soldiers who died in Afghanistan and Iraq. However, it seems that President Bush has met with a higher percentage of those families than any other wartime president, certainly a higher percentage than LBJ met with during the Vietnam War.
Does anyone have any statistics? I believe it would change the course of the discussion about President Bush's compassion if those statistics were available.

"Lets take a moment to appreciate the fact that our nation's leader has taken the time to meet with the family members of 270 of the 1,853 soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq. Which means that Bush has met with the families of 14.5% of all the soldiers who have died. Including Cindy Sheehan and her family. And not including the multitude of wounded soldiers he's met with."
He also met privately with more today.
