I remember my mom telling us how as a kid she & her friends would go behind a neighbor's barn and smoke some kind of "funny weed" that was growing there.:)

My mom said the same thing. Not about the farmers, but a guy who lived up the street was "always smoking a pipe on his front porch" and she "just knew" it was weeds from the farm. LOL! I always wondered how she "just knew."
