The skeleton of the steamboat Montana can be seen on the banks of the Missouri River near Bridgeton, Mo., Friday, Aug. 12, 2005. More than 120 years after it sank, the Montana has remained embedded in the deep mud of the river. The vessel is normally concealed by water, but rain has been rare this summer in the St. Louis area and elsewhere along the Missouri. (AP Photo/James A. Finley)
