Another Airliner Crash – Venezuela This Time. 152 On Board –Nothing More Yet.
Aicrcaft Accident Rule # 3:
Discount any and all rumors for one week following accident.
And the CVR reportedly is too badly damaged to be of much use.
..and strangely the original pilot said something about the plane being too dangerous to fly, and was last minute replaced with a German pilot.
Also, the passengers were not frozen as earlier reported.
Very strange....
..and now another crash.
When one considers thousands and thousands of flights take off and land every day in our world, and one never hears of a single crash....it's so rare....
...and now two in two days....plus that one in the US last week (Air France)...but maybe it doesn't count...(who knows)
These days, if it's not clearly a terror act but it was not an accident, someone will claim it, just to get their group in the news.

CARACAS, Venezuela - A passenger plane crashed in remote western Venezuela with 152 passengers aboard early Tuesday, an aviation official said. It was unclear whether anyone survived.
The West Caribbean Airways plane was headed from Panama to Martinique in the Caribbean when its pilot reported engine trouble to the Caracas airport, said Francisco Paz, president of the National Aviation Institute.
Airport authorities lost radio contact with the plane later in the area of Machiques, in the western state of Zulia, he said.

True, I don't know a dam-ed thing about the crash, but IT IS NOT TERRORISM RELATED!! (sarcasm)
You know that will be the next sentence coming out of the media and anyone who is regarded with any authority in this crash.
I just read some info about the Greek crash this morning. It reeks of a HUGE cover up.

AP now reporting the cockpit voice recorder is missing from the Cypriot airliner crash. They recovered only the exterior container.

Pilot requested emergency landing...engine trouble, weather was also bad...They have yet to locate the plane.
