Bigotry? You mean like saying: "And if some redneck decides he's going to harass or harm me, he'll be thinking twice about it pretty quickly."

I mean, what if some hetero gun owner were to say: "And if some faggot decides he's going to molest my son, he'll be thinking twice about it pretty quickly."

I am all for citizens exercising their rights to self defense and to keep and bear arms. But I am getting a little tired of the double standard on what is or isn't bigotry.

And in the context of this story, I find a little chilling what seems to be a veiled threat against anyone who might oppose the gay public school agenda.

Hmmm, methinks, that as the number of people in this category is rather small, every reported crime is going to be a higher percentage.
Even so, I notice that gender was excluded, and I somehow doubt that the percentage of crimes against homosexuals is equal to the proportion or crimes committed against females because of their supposed susceptibility - unless they are armed and knowledgeable. (yes, I do think crimes against women are overstated for political reasons as well, but think their claims are more legitimate)
