Because the majority of them are not "financially burdened" raising children, families which allows most of them to be occupationally mobile. And most are drug runners, money launderers, operate in and around sex trades, etc. And those are the true economic facts within the homo world.
What rock are you under. While they may not be like you and me I seriously doubt that the homosexual community is any more crime ridden than your family (which probably includes some gays). Does your religion condition you to be so judgmental or like so many others are you here to be judged?

Don't know where you live, but just off the top of my head, the homosexuals I know are lawyers, real estate agents, political staffers and doctors. Not a drug runner, money launderer or sex trade worker in the bunch.
