We ended up getting the Sony Grand WEGA 60" Widescreen Digital-Cable-Ready Rear-Projection LCD HDTV for around $3800. A little pricey, granted, but you can't beat the picture, IMO.

60" widescreen...only $3,800, eh? Hmmmm...

Funny thing is, I wanted to go for the 50", but my wife talked me into getting the bigger one.

She wasn't able to convince me to go all out and get the 70", though.
