Don't forget the "off-season" events that aren't part of the official PGA schedule. Plus, guys at the top of the world rankings (Woods, Els, Singh, etc.) can go play internationally for a big appearance fee.
Ok, this is an unrelated rant, but why was the Walker Cup (finished yesterday) not on TV, other than the Golf Channel? Moreover, why is the Walker Cup being played at the same time as the PGA?
There are some of us golf fans out there that would like to watch the Walker Cup (indeed, I would rather WIN the Walker Cup than almost any other tournament), but it gets totally screwed.
I really love golf, but I think the PGA and the USGA are really f-ing up the amateur game the way they are going.
