Back in the 60's, the school was all male. Everybody had to be in ROTC to fulfill the athletic requirement.

I went to Amherst Central Junior High School back in the late 60's and a neighbor across the street went to CC. He was a brain, no doubt about it, and CC always had a reputation as a brain school.
