No doubt about that. There are not enough thanks to your son and the others who are serving or have served the country.
Yes, Shawn is an incredible man. I think he has a lot of his grandfather in him. Not my dad but the ex-wife's. I've only seen him scared maybe once or twice as an adult and never have seen him angry. I don't know how he does that. He has some war stories that are eyepopping.
I have to add that his company didn't lose anyone. There were injuries but everyone made it. Incoming mortors bothered him.
