I hate to say this but as I've talked to a few people about this today, they know very little about the Sheehan story and are thus in the dark about why I walked out.

I support your decision. I left a Protestant church for similar reasons, ten years ago. The tip-off began with the pastor using all the liberal buzz words, but when he started telling us how to vote, I walked out.

Now I go to a church that preaches from the Bible. If you know the words of God, it's pretty easy to figure out by yourself for whom to vote.
