The political views of the pastor have no business intruding.

Remember John Paul II stood against the "Liberation Theology" of priests, which was nothing more than marxism.

I had a similar experience when the war started. Our priest went on and on against the war. I didn't walk out, but I've only been to mass a few times since then. I was livid !!

I would have walked out during the homily. And I would have made glaring eye contact with the priest as I turned to leave.

That comparison is preposterous.

don't fret.......you did the right thing.....

I am just waiting for our priest to bring up Move-On .ogre again....just waiting......

I might eventually end up going to a Eastern Orthodox church after all these years....maybe a Greek Orthodox one.....
