I was impressed with the fine air conditioned oil guzzling vehicles that the "troop supporters" used to transport themselves around the pristine, ANWAR like Crawford country side. Lincoln (Republican?) Town cars, Continentals, Dodge Diesels with the catalytic converters removed, Excursions, Hemi Chargers, conversion vans, customized Mini's, BMW's and giant SUV's with big rims polished in a Chinese sweatshop.

They all lined up for a drive out to the Bush ranch, then sat there for quite some time idling away in air conditioned bliss. Not sure how their driving out to cruise past Bush's home helps anybody fighting Islamic terror, but they seemed rather proud of themselves. Would not the globe be a little cooler if they held a virtual rally or sent the $$ they spent on themselves directly to the troops? Oh yeah, that does not play well in the media.
