Dallas but not Austin or Houston? That's got to be a misprint.

Dallas is not liberal at all; not if you consider the Metroplex. The city limits contain a preponderance of minorities who, unfortunately, think democrats are the best choice. Dallas is surrounded by huge satellite cities: Plano, Richardson, Garland, Irving, and so on, all of which are heavily conservative.
