"Did it stop at DoD? Or was the Justice Department involved in that decision? Or was the White House involved in that decision?

We need to know all about what was going on in that time period in those departments. But we also need to know whether Gorelick's 'wall' is still overshadowing this entire matter. Here's something I think could prove to be really big, to go along with Gorelick's 'wall' memo from the Dept. of Justice -- does anyone have Pentagon or media contacts who could pursue this issue:

Not only did Gorelick write the infamous 'wall' memo setting policy in the Dept. of Justice, but BEFORE that she was the General Counsel for DOD in the immediate aftermath of Waco!! Recall that when the "Able Danger" matter broke the other day we were being told the policy against sharing such info from the military to the FBI was said to be instituted "BECAUSE OF WACO."

So, did Jamie Gorelick in 1993-94 (while the Pentagon's senior official for ALL such matters in the DOD) set any policies, write any memos, etc. that would still have been operative toward the end of the Clinton administration??? Consider, she may well have selected and TRAINED some of the very "Pentagon lawyers" who blocked "Able Danger" info from being transmitted to the FBI. Gorelick had worked BOTH sides of the Pentagon and Justice/FBI divide so vital to this matter -- indeed, she was very likely the ONLY senior offical (certainly the only LEGAL official) to have worked both sides of this particular divide during the Clinton years!!!. Granted, she had left government in 1997 BUT her policies, procedures, and dictates may well have been still operational in the Pentagon, AS THEY CLEARLY WERE IN JUSTICE AND THE FBI, from what Ashcroft testified to about "the wall"....

"Before joining the Department of Justice, Gorelick served from May 1993 to April 1994 as General Counsel of the Department of Defense."

p.s. Here's something to make us all ill, Gorelick being feted by the left-liberal establishment:

In other words, is there another 'wall' memorandum (or related documents) buried in DOD files of the General Counsel's office, etc.????? Was any Gorelick policy barring such information-sharing in effect at the Pentagon throughout the Clinton years? It's a provocative question.

Such a document, if it exists and can be unearthed from the Pentagon's bureaucracy, would be truly damning.... especially if Rumsfeld could do an Ashcroft-type presentation of it at a press conference!!

Mark Levin was all over this, on his show tonight.

No matter hows hard the MSM is trying to continue to hide this, it is not just simply going to go away.

Note to self: she didn't necessarily have to institute such a policy while still at the Pentagon - at any time while she was Associate Attorney General she may well have sent a similar memorandum to the "Pentagon lawyers" telling them exactly how "the wall" applied to their work.... in fact, once she had written the policy on "the wall" wouldn't she have taken steps to ensure that ALL intel agencies across the government knew and were following her (imbecilic) interpretation of the 1978 FISA law??????? Maybe Rumsfeld could have an "Ashcroft moment" of presenting the same kind of document as the "wall memo"...... who can find a Pentagon official or reporter who would be able and willing to pursue this inquiry??
