Rescue International Wants to Send Search & Rescue Dogs back to Aruba

While I was in Aruba helping search for Natalee Holloway with Texas EquuSearch, one of Bruce & Ebbythe many search teams that I met was members of Rescue International. Bruce Barton, Dale and search canine Ebby performed searches at the landfill, the Bird Sanctuary, the abandoned Atlantis Hotel, on the beaches and at the dunes while in Aruba. They are looking to return to Aruba to further help the cause; however, they do need help in their efforts. Many if not all of the hotels do not allow dogs to stay in them as this is a tourists island. If anyone has any connections or information that could help them in this matter please contact them at: director@rescueinternational.org or email red@scaredmonkeys.com and I will forward them the information. Also, if anyone knows of individuals who may have houses for rent in Aruba as well.

Bruce Barton sent me an email stating that they hope to go back to Aruba as soon as possible to help in the efforts. Also, Rescue International is asking for donations to help fund another trip to Aruba to help search for Natalee Holloway. If you have any questions regarding their searches, their organization or donations they can be contacted directly. Thank you.

RI’s canine programs will help train SAR Canine handlers and their dog to reach a minimum Canine Training Standard for each area of operational ability. Based in Stroudsburg, PA., RI members and resources have responded to many of the major disasters in the past 15 years, including the 1987 Bridgeport, CT - Apartment Building Collapse, 1988 Earthquake in Armenia USSR, Hurricanes Hugo-Andrew-Opal, 1999 flooding in Boundbrook, NJ , World Trade Center Disaster Recovery Operations and many regional rescues. The Funds: NOTE RI is a non-profit rescue and educational organization but is not a charity and donations are not tax deductible per the IRS code, its only a act of passion and thanks to the handlers, canines and team members that are on the line or are going to be there when needed.

probably psychological.....I think of it as 'artsy-fartsy' attempts at manipulation, based on ones own old tapes. Quite different from brain structure and scientific neurophysiological evaluation and treatment by an M.D. who has specialized in Neurology and then dona a fellowship in psychiatry.

I've got to hope that the FBI is doing it on the sly.....but they are hamstrung from doing it in the open.....and few of us here have any reason to hope the arubans and maybe even the Dutch will do it as part of this case.....I assume that ALL of the aruban LE already KNOW how this relationship has manifested itself for many years on the island wrt regard to LE and "business" matters......maybe even some 'creep' stuff is known. too.

Oh, alice_in_bubbaland, I'm sure it wasn't you! I think that when Tito answered questions, he only used partial names. The only reason I know he was addressing "I hear Shango" is because I had to go searching for the question in order to post it with the answer.

Of course, with this case, all our minds have some overload going on! LOL!

Another thing, you seem to have medical background also. I was wondering if you think Joran's size in relation to his parents and siblings is indicative of gigantism or some other pituitary problem. If so, could this or the treatment for it have caused his rumored psychiatric problems?

my first guess would be that his stature might be the result of steroid abuse as a yonger adolescent.....his apparent yippity and aggressive personality is consistent with this as well......heavy steroid users often resemble speed/crack users in their affect. But what you suggest could easily be the case as well.

Could hyperprolactinemia brought on by neuroleptic use in early adolescence cause his stature abnormalities?

I tried to find some info today connecting gigantism or excessive growth hormone excretion to neuroleptic use but I can only tie it in through the hyperprolactinemia.

neruoleptics -> hyperprolactinemia

hyperprolactinemia -> acromegaly(adult onset gigantism)

What do you think? I know I'm grasping a shadows but isn't that what we're all doing. I sure would like to see his med profile.

Hey Doodlelady! I think they are just trying to come to an educated guess as to why someone would harm a beautiful young woman such as Natalee. I don't think it's an excuse, just searching for answers. We've all been glued to these threads just searching & praying.........:o(
