I'm having a hard time working up an outrage about this, and an equally hard time repressing my envy.
I'm sure the vast majority of men are having similarly hard times.
But I'm curious about women's attitude if the situation were reversed. What would their reaction be to hearing that a male teacher had seduced a 13 year old girl?
As a man, I would would find this much more reprehensible.
Am I being chauvenistic, or is treating these two cases the same another case of PC?
Individuals in position of authority (male OR female) should not use that authority for sexual advantage. Plain and simple.
But I have another question: How were these two found out? And if she was a family friend, did the parents press charges or did law enforcement press the charges? There are a lot of unanswered questions here.
i am a mother of a 13 yo boy and 11 and 17 yo girls, i would want to murder either perp with my bare hands. as bad as this one and the one in FL are, what is even more difficult for me to fathom is the one in Albany NY who had a son the same age and was doing HIS FRIENDS.
