I guess somebody in the current administration figured out she was wrong about this.

"So was the staff a) protecting the Atta timeline or b) Jamie Gorelick or c) the Clinton administration or d) itself, because it got hold of the information relatively late and the staff was lazy?"It would appear to be all of the above.

"NOW GET THIS: this very same Daniel Marcus, Bill Clinton's very own "Senior Counsel" to the WH Counsel's Office and then Associate Attorney General, is the man signing off on whether Sandy Burglar withheld any documents from the 9/11 Commission!!!!!!".....Can you say "THE FIX IS IN??"
quoting myself above, because now I want to ask this: how on earth could all those DC people "in the know" such as MSM journalists, (not to mention all the Republicans who know who all these people are on the 9/11 Commission), have sat back and allowed the 9/11 Commission farce to proceed??? I know what to say about the MSM, but still, isn't it truly STAGGERING that they could sit back and allow not only Gorelick and Ben Veniste, but Bill Clinton's own "Senior Counsel" to the WH Counsel's Office (Daniel Marcus) to control this investigation?? Bill Clinton's "Senior Counsel" Dan Marcus -- it's like allowing BRUCE LINDSEY to run the 'investigation' for heaven's sake! Oh, wait, since Bruce Lindsey was supposedly directing Sandy Burglar's escapades from behind the scenes, it all fits!

"I fear the MSM will bury this."
How many times do we have to see it?
Rathergate, Sheehan's visit to the President, Rovegate, now this - The MSM is now IRRELEVANT!
They used to be the leaders in forming public opinion; they are now the FOLLOWERS, but they don't realize it yet...

"Could Berger have made a deal to roll over?"
No. His professional future rests on the Clintons getting back into the White House. But I, for one, will not sit quietly through an administration that contains Hillary, Berger, and Gorelick.

Gorelick also sits on the board of directors of Schlumberger, a leading oilfield services provider with interests in Iraq, and she is on the Finance Committee of Schlumberger. Her interests in protecting Iraq are greater than her government service indicates.
This has the feel of being the tie-in between 9-11, Iraq, the bizarre behavior of the Democrats, and the Oil For Food program. If so, it's no wonder there was such effort to hide information, as well as the opposition to Bolton's appointment.

other than "Bush lied, my husband died", did she have thing to say, of course, outside of campaigning openly for Kerry 2008?

I know the AD story is new. Was wondering why Gorelick's memo did not hit the fan earlier. Did it require the military to leak the rest of the story?

Gorelick also was one of the ones that LOVED going on all of the cable channels to talk about how important she was...
Why hasn't she been on any in the last few days? How long before she does go on one again?
AB---Does Tim Russert "nut up" and have Weldon on Meet The Press for an hour?...he gives the dems an hour when he want their message to get across.

Richard Clarke has to be up to his red ass in AttaGate. This prick should be reined in. If he lied to the 9/11 commission while under oath, does this carrry criminal penalty. The Bush administration has all of the power. The Republicans hold power in congress, but only a lone Pennsylvanian congressman is keeping this afloat. Will someone please explain why the Republicans are absent on this issue. AttaGate exposed would keep the Republicans in power for 30 years if they simply got the facts to the public.

Question to the Jersey Girls: How do you feel about 9/11 Commission staffers withholding important and relevant evidence from the Commission?
To: Political Junkie Too
Once again, accusing others of doing what they are in fact doing.

That's par for the course these days here at FR too, for a few, imo. LOL

The deck was purposely allowed to be stacked with ex-Clintonites and they let them run rampant knowing that sooner or later they would screw up that the MSM couldn't ignore it. You are dreaming.
