Her family should "protest" by dis-inviting her to Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas. (Assuming the Moon bat celebrates traditional American holidays)
I have a feeling she's a Kwanzaa type, and celebrates "Community Day" or something. (May Day, though, she's there.)
