I walked out of the office of a former golf partner and friend yesterday. I check in and say hi every couple months. He was uncontrollably bashing President Bush. I turned and walked out and suspect we are no longer friends.
Shame. He probably cheated anyway ;o)
A bummer. You gotta wonder how in the heck did their hate get to the point of deliberately destroying long-time friendships? I lost a relative/friend after the 2000 election the same way. We have not communicated since that time although I did want to send a little card "Bush is still the President" last November. :o) Of course the fact that she was a student at the U of Chicago during the 60's should have warned me but I never expected such a rage.
