Are you opposed to all political involvement by Christians or just support of Republican candidates by Republicans?

Out of curiosity, since you are anti-Republican, which party are you a member of, do you support, prefer, or whose candidate for president you voted for in the last election? Or are you waiting for Buchanan to tell you which third party you believe in?

It is OK for Christians to be involved in politics, and support either party as they see fit. But they should do it on their own and not as an organized effort, whoever is elected, it is God's will. Kind of like the military, don't campaign in uniform. Effort spent spreading the message of Christ reaps a bigger dividend.

I used to be a Republican but now have no party. My first involvement in a campaign was Ronald Reagan's challenge to Gerald Ford in 1976, I was very involved in politics and in 1982 was elected as a Republican PCO, I only served a term because I moved away after I was married.

It seems to me that the crowd that opposed Reagan in 1976 runs the party today, the rhetoric is Reagan but the reality is Rockefeller. My loyalty is to America rather than party, as such I have never voted for a Democrat because I do not believe in the principles they stand for today. I voted straight Republican in 2004 except for President, I did not see Bush or Kerry as fit and gave neither my vote.

IIRC Buchanan endorsed Bush in the 2004 election? I do not feel that our system would encourage a third party, that is for nations with a parliamentary system and Prime Minister. However that does not guarantee that a major party cannot be bumped off, as the Whigs discovered in 1860.

I'm not anti-Republican, I'm pro-American.
