"The effort spent by Christians electing Republicans have not prevented a single abortion." I don't know any pro life person who would say that. President Bush has done more to advance the pro life agenda than any other elected official. We don't argue partial birth abortion anymore, we argue use of stem cells from embryos that are going to be destroyed. Anyone who doesn't appreciate the significance of that is not pro life.

Intentions do not matter, only results. Not a single abortion has been prevented by the massive effort spent by Christians on electing Republicans. The great commission is to spread the message of Christ, not to proselytize for the Republican Party.

Bush = 1.2 million dead shredded aborted babies per year, every year of his presidency.
A million dead shredded babies last year = a million dead shredded babies this year = a million dead shredded babies next year = NO CHANGE
If someone is really really pro life, the numbers matter, not the semantics.
