How utterly condescending. My husband is not a "baby." He is a grown man who has voluntarily decided to serve his country, as was her son. She has just demeaned her son. Not surprising, though, since her behavior is a disgrace to him.

The press says Cindy is 48 years old. That would make her 2 years younger than I, and we were a little young to have been in the thick of the "peace movement" of the late '60s (not having even graduated highschool until the early '70s). She seems to be trying to live out what she missed. Very sad that her son's heroic death in the most honorable service to our country pushed her over the edge. All we can do is pray she realizes what she's done.
