Islam will never be able to coexist with us until its militants are thrashed soundly. There's going to be an awful lot of dead (hopefully mostly Muslim) before this mess is sorted out. In the meantime, Blair's got the right idea. And when the filthy Islamists riot I hope the sounds of watermelons cracking open fills the air. If thousands of these people die at the hands of the British police it will be a very good thing.

I disagree that Islam is incompatible with the West in general. Our whole culture is based on freedom of everything, including religion. I myself am a Christian and do not believe in Islam. That being said the Muslims can live over here as long as they are good Americans. That means paying taxes, reporting terrorist related crimes, abiding by the laws, etc. It is the physical belief of a small sect of Islam that uses spiritual teaching to justify murder. Murder is not justifyible by any society, by any method. Blair understands this also.

Islam has a history of incompatibility with the West. If they were simply an innocuous part of the productive, law abiding body of citizens it would not be an issue. That is not the case. Islamic radicals are killing people. Followers of Islam are raising money to fund the terrorists. Followers of Islam dare not oppose the terrorist elements for fear of becoming targets themselves.

Families from the area, and I still can't get over the fact that they raised me in New Orleans as opposed to our old family grounds.
