My own explanation is that women are super skilled at assessing unconsciously and sort of holographically--in terms of multi-dimensional inputs

very subtle nuance sorts of inputs, sensings, issues, contexts, relationships etc.

To do this, they seem compelled to take in vast amounts of seemingly trivial info.
