I just watched the special report they had on him.

Why I am tearing up for a guy I never liked for his politics, I don't quite know.

But, my heart goes out to his family and those who were close to him.

I have a heck of a lot of respect for the utter deterimination and hard work he did to get where he got. That is impressive, and I found it particularly amazing how he read books and more books to understand what he was reporting about.

Though I felt sometimes he was very biased in his reporting, I do not believe it was on purpose, and there were times when he could have been biased that I was impressed he actually wasn't.

Prayers for his wife and children.

Empathy for those who hurt is a humane emotion.

I, too, am terribly sorry for the pain being felt by those left behind.

I will never forgive Jennings for his comments on 9-11 about President Bush when the president was going from spot to spot on Air Force One. His comments were dispicable just like his politics. Anti-American if I ever saw one.

With that being said...may God rest his soul.
