Have you been able to find out anything else? I understand these things are handled delicately but Fox mentioned something this morning and hasn't followed up with anything at their site. Is the lack of any story anywhere just a weekend thing or is everybody just holding back until he passes? By your info (thanks, btw) it sounds very close.
>Have you been able to find out anything else?
Expect nothing more until ammouncement.

Till passes
BTW, watch for any change in Richard Holborook's schedule. His wife is Kati Marton Holbrook, 3d wife of Jennings and mother of his only children.

It's mostly professional courtesy; he is a colleague, after all. But there's also the simple fact that there's just not much to report. Everyone knew this was coming, there's really no hope of improvement barring the sort of miracle you'd want to report to the Vatican afterwards, and the last few days of a terminal cancer patient's life just aren't particularly interesting in a "newsworthiness" sort of way. It's sad, but not anything you don't expect. (If, by comparison, Brian Williams were to get hit by a bus tomorrow, you'd have 24/7 wall-to-wall coverage of that, because that would be totally unexpected, coming out of nowhere.)
So everyone's just going to keep quiet for the most part until the inevitable comes. To any newsroom, they'd consider it a far better use of their time to work on an appropriate tribute to Jennings to air after the announcement of his death. And I can't say I disagree with them.
