Just got off the phone with a Recruiting Officer. Said they changed the ago to 40 about 6 months ago so I missed it by 5 months.

Will be stopping by the Office this weekend to give my information. If they'll take me and I can find a good home for Clyde, I'm going under the condition that I be in a combat unit. I still want some payback for the 9/11/01 attacks.

My stomach just did a somersault.

I went to a Marine recruiting center three years ago at the county fair to see what the cutoff age was. I think they told me it was 35 so I missed it by three years. I still want a little payback also. Right or wrong I do.
If this is true I will be enlisting. A combat unit of course.
