IMHO the 9/11 commission members were a farce. Average Americans (set up like a jury room) could and would have done the victims a far more adequate and satisfying job.
The Sandy Berger equation proves corruption and taints the results. I don't know how those involved with protecting Sandy Berger can sleep with a clean conscience at night! Removing and destroying evidence is criminal - no matter who does it, who ordered it, or who is protected by it.
I'm sure you realize that those protecting Berger are to be found in the Bush Department of Justice. Why did the DoJ offer and agree to such a sweet litle tap on the wrist sentence for Berger? No AUSA or USAtty could agree to this. Orders had to have come from DC and I doubt Gonzales would agree to this without the "Big Man's" approval.
