Yes, Site Institute is a 'must read', IMO.
LOL, Ann Coulter cracks me up.
"If you made a movie of this bumbling nincompoop's misadventures, you'd have to call it "Dude, Where's My Car Bomb?"
fundamentalist Islam views entertainment industry and alcohol as sinful behaivior IIRC. Could also be lost in translation.
Truck carrying 35,000 pounds of explosives blows up on Utah highway
By JENNIFER DOBNER
Associated Press
SALT LAKE CITY -- A tractor-trailer carrying 35,500 pounds of explosives overturned and exploded on a Utah highway, injuring at least 19 people.
The explosion left a giant crater -- estimated to be 70 feet wide and 30 feet deep -- on U.S. 6 about 60 miles south of Salt Lake City and forced the two-lane highway's closure in both directions.

The simulated chemical release IIRC was to use a non-toxic gas and track its dispersal patterns within the subway system. I don't think that there was a security exercise associated with it.
Oklahoma man held before boarding plane with bomb
YAHOO News & Reuters ^ | August 11, 2005
OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - An Oklahoma man was taken into custody after he tried to carry a bomb on board an airplane on Wednesday in Oklahoma City, an FBI spokesman said.
Charles Alfred Dreyling Jr., 24, was detained on Wednesday morning after a security screener using an X-ray machine saw the device in his luggage as he tried to board a flight to Philadelphia at Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City.
"Although the investigation is in its initial stages we have found no apparent connection to any type of terrorist activity or group," FBI spokesman Gary Johnson said.

That's SOME crater!
In this heat, wearing protective vests over their uniforms, with their adrenalin flowing, I'm hoping they have heavy-duty deodorant.
LOL - hope so.
Those are all considered against Islamic law, and the presence of these trades (theater, alcohol production and service) bespeaks a country that is not "truly" Islamic.
Apparently, the Islamic version of ATF would ATT (Alcohol, tobacco and theater). Firearms are okay, I guess.
LOL at ATT!
With regard to these trades, I meant to say I wish I knew if these were their supposed 'upcoming targets'. And then which alchohol, tobacco or theater (concerts?) they were referencing.
I believe it's more of an edict than a warning, as far as the theaters, alcohol and tobacco are concerned. As far as the money, well, yikes.
LOL, I'm listening . . .
And opium. :-)
You're probably right about it being an edict.
Strange story

Thursday, August 11, 2005
By Laura Pace, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Is Mathew Stewart the terrorist with a twang?
FORMER army private Mathew Stewart has emerged as the chief suspect in the hunt for the masked terrorist with an Australian accent.
Stewart left home four years ago to fight alongside Osama bin Laden and has not been seen since.
Australian Federal Police officers wasted no time investigating Stewart as the hooded figure in the terror video aired on an Arab TV station.
AFP officers have interviewed his distraught mother, Vicky Stewart. She denied the heavily armed man was the missing son she had long believed dead.
But one of Stewart's close friends, Adam Miechel, said he believed the self-declared terrorist on the video was the man he grew up with in Mooloolaba, on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. (snip)
