I'm not necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed so I don't think this qualifies as 'loose lips'. Certainly at times some 'muddy waters' or rather 'fog of war' can be beneficial. The last few weeks have included a 'liberal' dose of noise stating that Iraq was providing a source of trained jihadists to spread terrorism to Europe and the U.S.
Why not encourage some of them to stay in the target rich environment of Iraq by letting them think we are caving. I personally have the utmost confidence in Rumsfeld when it comes to running the 'political' arm of the military which resides at the Pentagon.

Agree with you completely - Rumsfeld is not only riding the Pentagon pukes hard....but the Big Green as well... which is why there are always leakers (to the MSM) trying to knock him off. He has been fantastic for American National Security.
